What You Will Work On
- Database design, capacity planning, data maintenance plans, and security policies.
- Relational model development, determining table relationships, and field interactions.
- Building efficient pipelines for data processing.
- Engaging with customers to ensure optimal data solutions.
- Establish database management systems, standards, guidelines, and quality assurance for database deliverables.
- Document and communicate database designs.
- Evaluate and install database management systems.
- Code complex programs and develop logical processes on technical platforms.
- Build windows, screens, and reports.
- Assist in designing user interfaces and business application prototypes.
- Participate in quality assurance and develop test application code in a client-server environment.
- Provide expertise in developing, negotiating, and defending tables and fields in the database.
- Adapt business requirements into data, database specifications, and table/element attributes.
- Develop an understanding of original data and storage mechanisms.
- 2–4 years of experience in a data engineering role.
- Strong skills in Python, Databricks, and database design.
- Experience building pipelines and engaging with customers.
- Self-starter attitude and strong presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
- Databricks and AWS certifications are a plus but not required.
