Position Overview
Lifeblood is seeking a Business Systems & Automation Engineer to lead the development and optimization of internal systems that support our various business functions.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in The Woodlands, TX.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize a customized CRM to align with business needs, enhancing recruitment, client management, and marketing operations.
- Automate workflows across key platforms (Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe Sign, LinkedIn, website, etc.) to eliminate manual data entry and improve efficiency.
- Build and manage data pipelines to aggregate lead, client, and candidate data from tools like LinkedIn, research tools, and other sources.
- Develop and implement integrations via APIs or automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make) to enhance connectivity between business systems.
- Support strategic marketing efforts by delivering clean, structured data for targeted outreach and campaign planning.
- Create dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for leadership, improving data-driven decision-making.
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in data workflows, ensuring systems are optimized for accuracy, speed, and scalability.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in CRM development, data automation, business systems, or operations technology.
- Hands-on experience with no-code software development and/or custom CRM platforms
- Proficiency in workflow automation and API integrations (Zapier, Make, or similar tools).
- Strong data management skills, including experience with spreadsheets, SQL, or BI tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Ability to work independently to build, test, and optimize automation processes with minimal technical oversight.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset to improve business operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing or migrating CRM platforms and automation workflows.
- Background supporting recruiting, sales, marketing, or business operation teams.
- Familiarity with data pipeline tools (web scraping or market research automation).
- AI experience is a bonus—especially in areas like predictive analytics, workflow optimization, and data enrichment.
- Understanding of MedTech, healthcare, or startup ecosystems is a plus
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certifications in CRM platforms, data automation, or no-code development area plus.
