Job Description

MSX launched a new data driven startup team. This team is built from individuals who want to be entrepreneurs and create new innovative digital products for the mobility industry. We are looking for individuals who exhibit curiosity, are extremely resourceful, enjoy being creative, bring lots of energy & have grit.

This position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business data and statistical models that allow for insights into customer data. The candidate would be expected to help develop analytic reports and dashboards for existing business and new opportunities. The role is also responsible for helping shape the tools that the analytics group uses.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop insightful KPI reporting dashboards to drive decision-making and performance tracking.
  • Defines the scope and format of advanced reports. Prepares and presents reports and analysis in requested formats to internal/external audiences as required.
  • Reconcile data inconsistencies and ensure data integrity.
  • Develop reports and dashboards via data mining analytics and reporting tools.
  • Prepare analytics reports in presentation form.
  • Conduct research and analyze special studies when needed.
  • Create and update documentation of process flows and business rules.
  • Maintain current reports up to date and process large amounts of data as needed.
  • Develop data models to drive business decisions.
  • Maintain & develop great customer relationships.
  • Conduct adhoc requests with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or relevant discipline
  • 2+ years of previous external client facing experience.
  • 2+ years of data visualization tools usage (Tableau, PowerBI, GoodData, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience in SQL for querying relational databases (SQL, Databricks, etc.)
  • Experience with complex data analysis.
  • Performing data manipulation and statistical analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to understand and communicate the meaning of the data being presented.
  • Multi-dimensional reporting, data correlation, data analytics and data mining.
  • Excellent Mathematical/Statistical and Logic skills.
  • Excellent Reasoning skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or relevant discipline.
  • 2+ years automotive operations experience, or similar business (quick-paced environment).
  • Understanding of big data and best practices in the analytics industry.
