Data Analyst II, Accounting Billing Control

Position Description

We have an opening in our Billing Control group. This will have a hybrid work schedule with three days in office per week. (Subject to change). This posting will close on May 27th.

As an Data Analyst II in Billing Control, you will use your collaboration, interpersonal, analytical and billing system skills to work with teams in each of our divisions to set up new rates and adjust existing rates in our current and future billing systems . You will use strong organizational, planning, and project tracking skills to ensure commitments are delivered on or ahead of schedule. You will need excellent written and verbal skills to work with stakeholders to accomplish objectives. A foundational understanding and applied application of billing system architecture will be beneficial in this role.

What You Will Do

Perform in-depth data analyses and reporting.

Communicate results through presentations, reports, and memos to internal stakeholders.

Use data to improve business processes and decision-making.

Utilize analytical skills and available tools to perform in-depth analysis of both internal and 3rd party data to provide business recommendations.

Create customized presentations and reports that effectively and clearly communicate results to stakeholders.

Act as liaison between various departments for data collection and reporting.

Create reports based on business needs.

Build, manage and analyze internal data sets by utilizing data analysis skills.

Examine data sets and reports to ensure accuracy and data integrity.

Clearly communicate analytic results and post-event summaries to improve future business decisions.

Independently analyze data to identify significant differences, relationships and trends.

Translate customer data needs into concrete data mining tasks and execute them.

Improve data reporting and presentation methods.

Effectively present information management concepts and methods to non-technical users.

Assist with other analyses as requested by management.

Identify cause and solution of any data bugs or errors.

Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

Preferred Bachelor's Degree in business administration, math, statistics, related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job-related experience:

Experience With Microsoft Excel Functions, Including

• Complex formulas
• Pivot tables
• Charts
• Queries
• Macros
  
  

Working knowledge of SAS or Microsoft Power BI products.

Ablity to interact with data sources using various techniques, including:

• SQL Queries
• Imports and exports
• Report Development
• Data Visualizations
  
  

Working knowledge of information extraction and analysis techniques, and practices.

Demonstrated ability to identify data relationships, complete data mining, and to create analytic solutions.

Working knowledge of statistical methods and data mining preferred.

Demonstrated ability of strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and prioritizing.

Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively.

Mobility to travel in and around office facilities system wide.

Ability to communicate and exchange information or instructions and conduct oral presentations.

Visual Abilities Sufficient To Perform Job Duties.
