About The Position
We are looking for curious and energetic individuals with a background in Accounts Payable, eager to channel their expertise in a new, exciting setting. If you’re looking to apply your AP skills within the world of technology, then Stampli’s Customer Support Specialist could be the role for you!
As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be an expert on Stampli‘s Financial Operations Platform for new and current customers, and help them with all aspects of support, onboarding, training and customer success. This primarily includes working with our customers directly via our chatbox, Intercom, and simple integration to accounting systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct and QuickBooks. Experience with at least one of these systems is a big plus!

While other platforms are built by payments providers to capture a business’s cash flow, Stampli is built by AP experts for AP first. As a result, Stampli drives AP and finance team efficiency across the entire invoice lifecycle, from vendor onboarding to remittance to spend management and beyond.
Stampli creates breakthrough productivity by centralizing all invoice-related communication, documentation and workflows into a single view for each invoice, and by automating all manual activities using Billy the Bot, the industry’s only proven AI. Billy’s self-learning architecture has made it more capable every day since its debut in 2015; today, Billy the Bot has saved millions of hours of labor for Stampli customers as it processes $85B+ invoices every year.
Stampli fully adapts to a customer’s desired finance processes and ERP configuration, thanks to the complete integrations it has prebuilt for ERPs from Microsoft, Oracle, Sage, SAP, QuickBooks, Acumatica, Dealertrack, and many others. Thanks to this adaptability, Stampli implements within weeks, not months, and is easy to learn for any stakeholder involved in the invoice lifecycle.

What You Will Do
- Answer customer inquiries within Intercom promptly, efficiently, and professionally.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success leadership, Product, and Development teams to escalate complex issues.
- Be a trusted resource for both current and new customers on all aspects of Stampli’s Financial Operations Platform.
- Proactively explore AI-driven methods to enhance customer support efficiency to streamline invoice processing and approval workflows.
- Assist customers in leveraging AI-powered features, such as Billy the Bot, to automate invoice processing, approvals, and communications—maximizing efficiency and minimizing manual work.
- Minimum 1 year Accounts Payable experience
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Organized, curious, and motivated to learn
- Experience with Purchase Orders
- Experience with ERP's (Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Oracle NetSuite)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Service oriented and collaborative
- Positive energy
- Experience nurturing relationships with vendors
- Knows their debits and credits (and has done postings before)
- Familiarity with AI-based automation tools in finance operations or a strong desire to develop expertise in enhancing AP workflows through technology.
- You’re agile, data-aware, and always asking: “What’s a smarter way to do this?”
- The flexibility of working from our Nashville, TN office three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), with the option to work remotely for the remainder of the week.
