Curriculum Assistant

ACCEL Schools Online is seeking a qualified Curriculum Assistant dedicated to improving the overall curriculum, assessment and training offering.

• This position is remote and can be performed from any state except within California and Colorado**
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Contributes to various assessment projects, such as test creation and cataloging.
• Support training and maintenance of curriculum team databases
• Assist with creation of training materials and training sessions
• Support content and formatting of product newsletter
• Create support materials for supplemental products
• Support ticket management
• Serve as a point of contact for vendors and school leaders
• Assist in researching state requirements to prepare for new school launches.
• Contributes to various curriculum projects, such as course mapping, gap filling, course approvals and curricular resources.
  
  

Requirements:

• General content knowledge across all grades and subjects, K-12 preferred
• Knowledge of various State Standards and Common Core Standards preferred
• Experience with learning management systems, like Canvas preferred
• Knowledge of curriculum resources such as IXL, iReady and Newsela preferred
• A love for organization and details
• Knowlege of Training Platforms preferred
• Marketing/design experience
• Ability to work well under pressure, and effectively prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines consistently
• Understanding and ability to manage confidential information
• High quality written and verbal communication skills
• Computer proficiency
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Canva and PowerPoint
• Proficiency with Google apps such as Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides
• Successful completion of a background check
