Solarity Credit Union is seeking a Credit Administration Manager, in our Member Business Services department onsite, at our North 5th Branch in Yakima.

As a Credit Administration Manager, you will lead administration, credit analysis and portfolio monitoring efforts to meet credit union objectives, ensure asset quality, and support prudent growth. Manage participation activities, both buying and selling, that support Solarity's balance sheet strategy while protecting portfolio integrity. Drive operational excellence in loan documentation, closing, and compliance to deliver seamless support to the sales team and ensure positive member and business outcomes. Develop and inspire a high-performing team of credit analysts, administrators, and production specialists to achieve organizational goals, mitigate loan losses, and uphold regulatory standards. Collaborate closely with internal and external partners to safeguard the credit union's assets and deliver the best possible value for engaged members.

  • A degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Effective communication and relationship building skills.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in commercial loan administration, credit operations, or portfolio management in a credit union or banking environment.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience managing teams responsible for credit administration, commercial loan processing, or portfolio monitoring.
  • Demonstrated success supporting sales teams, ensuring file integrity, and managing risk within a commercial lending environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational, project management and problem-solving abilities.

A Day in the Life of Our Credit Administration Manager...

As a Credit Administration Manager with Solarity, your typical day may include:

  • Leading and coaching a team of credit analysts, administrators, and production specialists to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and consistency in credit administration.
  • Overseeing commercial loan documentation and closing processes to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timeliness while delivering a seamless experience for members and business partners.
  • Reviewing and approving credit analyses, loan packages, and annual reviews for both real estate and C&I loans-including owner-occupied and investment properties.
  • Monitoring the health of the loan portfolio by tracking performance, concentrations, and covenant compliance, ensuring proactive identification of risks.
  • Coordinating with the sales team to align credit support with business development priorities, ensuring smooth handoffs and efficient member service.
  • Preparing and delivering portfolio monitoring reports and operational updates for executive leadership, the Board, and regulators.
  • Managing loan participation activities-both purchases and sales-by reviewing files, negotiating terms, and safeguarding balance sheet strategies.
  • Collaborating with external partners such as legal counsel, appraisers, and auditors to ensure quality, compliance, and positive outcomes.
  • Driving process improvements that enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and create added value for members and staff.
  • As the day winds down, reviewing team progress, ensuring all loan closings and critical tasks are complete, and setting priorities for tomorrow.
