Creative Brand Specialist duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- The Creative Brand Specialist is a key member of the Creative HQ team and provides strategic direction on brand and campaign creative, including development of brand standards, templates and training to ensure brand compliance throughout the entire VBPR department.
- The role oversees development and design of creative assets for marketing and communication campaigns, as well as branded park and building signage, branded ‘swag’ and equipment and development of sub-brands as needed.
- The specialist also completes annual brand audits at key parks & recreation facilities to identify issues and opportunities for brand creative. This includes maintaining a brand library of up-to-date photos, videos and assets, including branded ‘swag’ and equipment.
Key Accountabilities:
- Oversee development and management of brand assets, including graphics, templates, motion graphics, photography & video.
- Ensure our audience has a consistent brand experience with every interaction with VBPR, with a particular focus on the brand experience in our recreation centers.
- Provide approvals, or direction, on any design assets produced outside of the Creative HQ team.
- Provide creative direction to the Parks & Recreation department, advising the department on creative that aligns with our visual identity and branding.
- Create campaign and design assets that enhance brand perception with our audience.
- Monitor, identify, and implement opportunities to strengthen our visual identity and branding guidelines.
- Oversee design and production of seasonal activity guides, brand swag and branded promotional materials
