Overview

InnVentures is seeking to add an enthusiastic and proactive Human Resources professional who has a desire to learn and grow their career with us!

As the Corporate HR Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting the people functions of Home Office staff and have oversight of a group of hotels with direction and counsel on human resources policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Onboarding and Offboarding of corporate associates. Identify opportunities and implement processes to improve the experience of the team.
  • Provide coaching support to corporate office department managers and host targeted training sessions for ongoing development.
  • Support the efforts of the InnVentures Culture Committee to ensure the office offers a supportive and welcoming environment to all associates.
  • Responsible for supporting the Human Resources functions of a select group of hotels as assigned, providing guidance to managers, ensuring compliance and engagement.
  • Ensure compliance implementation across the portfolio in conjunction with the senior leadership team.
  • Roll out training and implement systems deployment as budgeted.
  • Support WC administration, unemployment inquiries, leave of absence administration and maintenance of general organizational platforms.
  • Filing and maintenance of employment files for hotel General Managers and corporate associates.
  • Respond to Associate Hotline which could be employment inquiries or employee concerns and questions.
  • Support employee relations functions, through connection calls with associates and various investigations, providing proper resolution and follow up to respective
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Up to 10% travel may be required

Qualifications

  • 5 years progressive experience in full cycle, hands on Human Resources, with experience effectively managing employee relations and investigations
  • 2+ years’ experience in an HR Coordinator/HR Generalist or higher position. Previous experience in office environment HR support.
  • College degree preferred
  • PHR and/or SHRM-CP highly preferred
  • Highly adept at communicating, both in writing and verbally
  • Previous experience working with multi-state rules and regs.
  • Highly organized and stellar follow up skills
  • Extremely detail oriented – there are lots of levers going at any time, you’ll need to know how they work and what that means to the business.
  • Great interpersonal skills – you’ll work with all levels of employees from our individual contributors to top leadership.
  • Has a high emotional intelligence, isn’t quick to react, but instead seeks to understand first before making a decision
  • Computer savvy – Microsoft office, Outlook, Chrome, Teams, HRIS.

This position will be primarily based in the HQ office south of downtown Seattle – Tukwila/Kent; with the opportunity to work hybrid.
