During your internship, you will focus on two to three strategy pillars, which may include:
Interns will complete a primary project aligned with one of our strategy pillars, such as developing a comprehensive content campaign or executing a targeted digital audit, with final results presented to the Corporate Communications leadership team.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
During your internship, you will focus on two to three strategy pillars, which may include:
- Media and PR: Collaborate with the Corporate Communications team to support investor relations initiatives and engagement reports on press materials.
- Internal Communications: Write and publish engaging articles on our internal intranet, and track conversions and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Digital Communications: Assist in crafting and managing content for social media campaigns, collect data, and monitor conversions through social listening tools.
- Executive Communications: Support the development of communication plans for leadership, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies.
- Branding: Work on projects that enhance the EnerSys brand voice and ensure consistency across all platforms.
- Draft and publish intranet articles for the global employee audience using the EnerSys AI assistant, DORRIS.
- Collect, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics using tools like Emplifi, LinkedIn Analytics, and Meltwater.
- Assist in tracking conversions on campaigns, both internal and external, and compile monthly reports.
- Participate in the FY25 Social Media Audit and perform a SWOT analysis of EnerSys’ digital channels.
- Perform competitor benchmarking and research projects, such as identifying trends in the media or industry publications.
- Contribute to the creation of Executive Communication Plans for key leadership team members.
Interns will complete a primary project aligned with one of our strategy pillars, such as developing a comprehensive content campaign or executing a targeted digital audit, with final results presented to the Corporate Communications leadership team.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong writers with an ability to tailor content for different audiences.
- Tech savvy – Familiar with AI tools such as ChatGPT
- Familiar with social media platforms, including LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook.
- Proficient in data collection and analytics tools such as Meltwater, Emplifi, or similar platforms (training provided).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
- Passionate about branding and digital communications.
- Microsoft Office Suite
