The Philanthropy department at Hawai‘i Pacific Health aims to create and develop sustainable philanthropy initiatives across the organization. As a nonprofit hospital system, we provide care to all people, regardless of their ability to pay. Philanthropic support from the community is therefore vital and enables us to ensure that everyone who needs care can receive it. Donors help to bring state-of-the-art technologies to Hawai‘i because our families deserve them. Donations are utilized in patient services and programs, research and education, areas of greatest need at each facility, and endowment.
As the Coordinator, you will support the fundraising activity of Children’s Miracle Network corporate partners. You will plan, coordinate and execute fundraising campaigns, and small
to large scale events and meetings. And also develop sponsorship/trade/business arrangements and relationships with businesses, individuals and organizations interested in supporting Kapi‘olani Children Miracle Network’s events and activities and collaborate on other Fund Development projects. Bring your creativity, your excellent communication and organizational skills, and work in our Philanthropy Department.

Exempt: No
Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or related work experience. Valid Hawai‘i’s driver’s license and auto insurance. Two (2) years of communications, event planning, or fundraising experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree.
