Controller

The Controller plays a pivotal role in driving the financial stability and growth of the company by providing strategic oversight of all accounting and financial operations. This individual will be responsible for managing budgets, financial reporting, and compliance while actively contributing to operational decision-making. As the financial steward of the organization, the Controller will work closely with ownership and the executive team to interpret financial data, develop strategies to increase profitability, and implement systems that improve efficiency across the business. This is a highly visible position within the company, offering the opportunity to shape the financial framework and support the executive team with insights that directly impact growth, pricing, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Leadership
• Financial Reporting
• Risk Management
• Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting
• Coordinate and direct the financial planning and budgeting
• Capital Management
• Supervise and develop staff
• Compliance and Audit
• Partner with leadership team on operational and strategic issues as they arise affecting finances
• Cost Control and Profitability
• Manage cash flow and forecasting, directing financial accounting
• Working with one or more companies with common ownership
• Tax Preparation

Qualifications:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.

Experience:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Prior experience as a Controller or senior financial leadership position is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a company with a volume of $10 Million or more.
