The dental company you have always wanted to work for is now hiring! We are seeking a
Controller to further help accelerate growth at our 40+ dental practices. This position will
lead all aspects of Accounting Operations, Accounts Payable, Audit, and Tax.
The Controller will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for driving all
processes related to financial reporting in accordance with GAAP, accounting operations,
audit, and tax. This person will work closely with senior leadership, Field Operations, banking
partners, and audit/tax partners.
This is a home office position based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
What will you be doing?
Manage and develop a high performing team of accountants and accounts payable
through leadership and coaching.
Maintain and establish financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems
in accordance with GAAP.
Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure highest quality of
records and related insights.
Monitor the financial performance though monthly close process and audit.
Track company and unit performance relative to budget and adherence to control
processes.
Analyze operational KPIs relative to reported financial statements and trends.
Partner with CFO on cash management and treasury.
Partner with VP, Finance on annual budgeting and board/lender reporting.
What will you bring?
3+ years of experience building and leading performance-driven teams; experience
in multi-unit healthcare or retail preferred.
History of success driving strategy and execution across, and being accountable for,
accounting operations and financial statements.
Demonstrated success developing, documenting, and managing accounting
operations and control related processes.
Proficiency in ERP systems and reporting. Sage Intacct preferred.
Passion for building and developing high performing teams.
Holds themselves and others to high standards of character and accuracy.
