Description

Amazon is seeking talented Contracts Manager to support our transportation businesses! This role supports a number of last-mile programs, including Amazon Flex, Delivery Service Providers, Pickup and Return Points, and the Hub Delivery program. The transportation business continues to grow and evolve quickly to support customers, and the Contracts Manager will support everything from strategic partnership deals to simplifying high-volume contracting processes.

Key job responsibilities

  • Be an integral part of the business teams you support.
  • Negotiate and document a variety of third-party contractual relationships, including strategic partnerships, service providers, locker partner agreements, manufacturing agreements, amendments, work orders, and NDAs.
  • Review marketing copy and customer communications and advise on marketing strategies.
  • Develop internal processes to improve our ability to scale the legal support we provide.
  • Develop and provide training to the business.
  • Work with outside counsel.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of contracts management, paralegal, or other comparable experience within a law firm, corporation, military or similar experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations
  • Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $68,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $146,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
