This position requires an extensive knowledge of government contracting methods, applicable laws and regulations and the ability to develop and maintain professional and dependable relationships with both internal and external customers, especially in challenging and sometimes demanding situations.
Due to the nature of this particular role, it can be performed in a
full-time remote format
. Ideally, the chosen individual would reside within a few hours' drive of a BAE facility at maximum, though that isn't explicitly required. Some travel (approximately 10% or so) will be required in this role.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of related contracts experience or equivalent experience in DoD contracting.
Strong team players who enjoy working with program management and other functional disciplines in a supportive and complementary manner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this position as well has having the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience managing a team.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
JD or MBA degree in Business or related field.
Experience with Government contracting in a classified setting.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $135556 - $230444
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
