The Content Security organization is focused on protecting the magic – we ensure that all film and episodic content is protected and does not leak. We do this by employing the best practices from the world of Cyber Security, technology and a deep understanding of the world of media and entertainment creative workflows.
We are looking for a Content Security Engineer – a curious and driven early-career professional who’s excited to grow in the intersection of technology and storytelling. The successful candidate is someone who brings strong fundamentals in security or cloud infrastructure and a passion for working alongside creative technologists. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from seasoned engineers, contribute to meaningful assessment and protection efforts, and help safeguard Disney’s most valuable stories at their earliest stages. This is an ideal opportunity for someone eager to build a career in studio security, while gaining exposure to real-world tools, production pipelines, and the art of film itself.
Given this broad range of responsibility, the successful candidate can deal with ambiguity, provide clarity where none exists and be able to step into and navigate a complex and high-paced environment of hardworking, friendly, and passionate people. The ideal candidate is resourceful, inquisitive, and ready to grow. They bring strong foundational knowledge, but more importantly, an eagerness to learn in a creative environment that never stops evolving. They are energized by the opportunity to support world-class storytellers and technologists, contribute meaningfully to team goals, and develop into a trusted engineer within a high-performing security organization.
Responsibilities
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $104,600 to $140,200 per year. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
