We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Content Producer to capture and produce content for our Phoenix Suns social & digital channels. This role will be pivotal in the on daily coverage of our team, players, fans and the NBA as a whole. The ideal applicant must have a passion for basketball, strong knowledge of video production and a problem-solving mentality. This role includes a significant amount of travel during the NBA season and has non-traditional hours with games, practices, ect.

What You Will Do

• Document the team and player’s journey throughout the season, showcasing both on-court and off-court experiences
• Capture and edit engaging practice, game and travel videos for social media to showcase team highlights and player stories.
• Be a key member of the collaborative social team, monitoring social media trends and audience preferences to brainstorm new types of content creation
• Develop social-first videos that tell unique stories about players, coaches, and the community, enhancing fan connection and engagement.
  
  

What We Need From Our Content Producer

• Proven experience in social-first video production and content creation, preferably in basketball or a similar fast-paced environment.
• Experience in all aspects of video production, filming, lighting, and audio.
• Strong storytelling skills, with an ability to craft compelling narratives from raw footage.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for content distribution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with players and team staff.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to cover both home and away games.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  
  

Experience/ Education Requirements

• Undergraduate degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of video production experience. Experience in sports is preferred.

This position works mainly indoors, removed from extreme weather; exposure to weather is

S-Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.

Must be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in-person.
