Construction QA Manager

Remi

Date: 23 hours ago
City: Lehi, UT
Contract type: Full time
The Role

As Remi’s first Construction QA Manager, you’ll own the last mile of project quality. You’ll lead an offshore team that pores over every contractor photo, verifying workmanship, permit-ready documentation, and code compliance before we call a project “done.” If something’s missing or sub-par, you’ll work with regional teams to send contractors back for fixes or additional photos—fast. You’ll refine SOPs, introduce metrics that keep quality razor-sharp, and continually shorten cycle times so homeowners and partners stay delighted. You play a critical role in ensuring projects are done up to code and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and scale a team of offshore reviewers who process thousands of project photos weekly
  • Create and enforce detailed checklists that guarantee workmanship, safety, and AHJ compliance
  • Partner with regional teams to request re-work or additional evidence from contractors when gaps appear
  • Track quality trends, training issues, or process gaps—and create feedback loops with regional teams to improve quality and submitted materials over time
  • Audit existing policies, then implement process and tooling improvements that raise quality while cutting review time
  • Align with Remi license qualifier to uphold work supervision through photo review.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years in supporting and working with operations or construction teams
  • Deep attention to detail—you are able to keep a high-level of quality by not missing anything.
  • Strong written communication; you can give crystal-clear feedback to contractors and offshore teammates
  • Comfort with repetitive workflows and a passion for tightening them via documentation and automation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Roofing or solar experience (inspection, permitting, or QC)
  • Prior ownership of offshore team performance and morale
  • Familiarity with photo-management or field-service QA software

Benefits

  • Go out to lunch with your teammates every day with our $20 lunch stipend
  • Unlimited paid time off
  • 5% 401k match
  • 100% paid parental leave and medical insurance
  • $100 monthly cell phone credit
