Construction Project Manager, Semi

Tesla is looking for a Construction Project Manager to support the construction of the new ground up Semi truck manufacturing facility that requires exceptional talent. What You'll Do

Management of the planning, procurement, execution and close-out of Core and Shell structural and architectural systems, including Building dry in and interior fit outs

Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems

Develop and manage execution plans to ensure cost and schedule expectations are achieved

Develop and manage funding requests for new projects

Perform constructability reviews during design development to ensure engineering documents meet project needs

Work with the Procurement team to create biddable work packages and verify contractor proposals against cost/schedule estimates for purchase

Interface with engineering, construction, procurement, and commissioning teams

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Experience as a Project or Construction Manager on $50M+ industrial or commercial construction projects

Proven experience in the areas of process piping, wet and dry systems, plumbing and other mechanical systems associated with manufacturing facilities

Knowledge of mechanical codes and standards, including ASTM, ASHRAE and ASME

Proficiency in Construction baseline development, change control, cost/schedule performance and variance analysis

Willingness to spend a high percentage of time in the field to ensure project objectives are being met

Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals
