We are seeking a Construction Engineer I to join our Transportation Practice in our Albany office.

Duties Will Include

• Supporting field inspections;
• Reviewing contractor bids for accuracy and assist with recommendations to decision makers.
• Construction administration, including supporting design teams with answering of submittals and RFI’s;
• Office engineering duties;
• Field documentation;
• Monitoring and updating construction budgets for various projects;
• Report writing; and
• General assistance with other Transportation projects.
  
  

Requirements

• A.S. or B.S. in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering Science, or Construction Management.
• 0-5 years of relevant experience.
• A desire to work in construction management is a MUST.
• Candidate should possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be proficient in the use of word processing and spreadsheet software. This position requires the willingness to work outdoors and the availability to be assigned to occasional extended field assignments.
  
  

Estimated Pay Range: $60,000 - $80,000/year.

Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
