CANDIDATE MUST BE PROFICIENT IN CALTRANS CADD STANDARDS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE
WMH is seeking an accomplished CAD professional with at least 2 years of experience, with expertise in MicroStation and proficiency in Caltrans CADD standards.
Locations
The position is a hybrid role: in Oakland, CA, as well as teleworking at home. The in-office working days may change as needed, depending on the workload. In addition, overtime work on weekdays/weekends may be requested. WMH will provide the devices and equipment necessary to seamlessly perform the required assignments.
Job Description
This position involves assisting Caltrans staff in preparing highway design plans sheets for various projects. The position includes working with internal and external Caltrans Drafting Services Unit staff, as well as staff from other Caltrans functional units.
Services will include roadway design PS&E, typical cross sections and roadway plans, and related plans pertaining to noise barriers, retaining walls, staging plans, and construction phasing.

Compensation
The estimated pay range for this position is $35/hour - $55/hour.
The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. - Must be proficient in MicroStation 2023, MicroStation Connect and V8i
- Must be proficient in Caltrans CADD standards
- Civil 3D experience is a plus
