Starting Salary: $24.07$26.34 (depending on experience)

About This Position

The Community Services Coordinator helps oversee the Community Development Block Grant program. They manage federal regulations, monitor projects, and provide administrative support. They also review expenses, collaborate with the community, prepare contracts, and perform research. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of such.

Qualifications

  • Broad knowledge of the following (equal to a college degree):
    • Business administration
    • Social work
    • Economics
    • Communications
    • Law
    • Or other related areas
  • 3 years of related experience and/or training
    • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid Oklahoma Driver's License and a driving record acceptable to the City's insurance carrier
Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration of the CDBG program and other housing/community programs
  • Facilitate public input processes
  • Collaborate with community organizations and citizens
  • Prepare contracts, agreements, and expenditures
  • Establish and monitor metrics for reporting compliance
  • Maintain and record all financial records
  • Maintain all records relating to HUD programs
  • Attend public meetings and committees to provide advice
  • Perform research on special projects and compile data on findings
  • Assist with preparing reports and correspondence relating to laws, reviews, audits, etc.
  • Complete WISER training within 1 year

  • Ability to meet the required physical standards for this position
  • Ability to pass extensive background process and pre-employment drug and audio screenings
