Commercial Credit Analyst

Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday

Pay: $25.50/hr. or possibly higher depending on experience.

Remote / Onsite Work available. Preference will be made to applicants who live in Utah.

Your Purpose Will Be

The person in this position will analyze all business loan information and verify documentation. Also, every employee is responsible for fulfilling our Mission Statement: To improve the financial well-being of our members, while providing world class service.

What You’ll Do

• Review internal loan packages and all documents to complete underwriting process.
• Assist with phone inquiries from credit union branches and commercial officers.
• Review collateral value and verify collateral positions with appraisal and title information.
• Prepares cash flow analysis for all existing loans.
• Writes credit presentations for all modifications, extensions, and renewals.
• Review credit report to verify loan requests meet lending guidelines.
• Follow all underwriting criteria to ensure good decisions.
• Prepare all business loan annual reviews.
• Prepare modification requests for existing serviced loans.
• Imports financial information into imaging system when received.
• Responsible for all Meridianlink Consumer loan analysis prior to underwriter review.
• Assist Analysts 2 & 3 in creating credit presentations for new loans.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Understands the Bank Secrecy Act and how it is applied

Requirements

The experience you need to succeed:

• Six months to one year experience in Financial Lending.
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred. Trade-offs for education and experience may be considered.
• Proficient with standard office business machinery and software.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.
  
  

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Works primarily in a remote environment location. (Hybrid or work from home employees must be able to report in office if required.)
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly need to: see, talk, hear, and perform repetitive movements with arms, hands, and fingers to handle, feel, grasp, and reach. A computer, phone possibly including a smart phone, and standard office equipment are normal tools for this position.
