Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of assigned projects to ensure successful delivery on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
- Preconstruction: Participate in estimating, budgeting, and bidding. Develop work plans, project schedules, and subcontractor scopes of work.
- Contract Management: Prepare, review, and administer contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and submittals.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients to maintain alignment and resolve conflicts.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor budgets, forecasts, pay applications, and cost control measures while providing accurate reporting to leadership.
- Scheduling: Develop and update project schedules, ensuring proper sequencing and resource allocation.
- Quality & Safety: Enforce company and regulatory standards for quality assurance and jobsite safety, conducting site visits and inspections as needed.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Closeout: Oversee punch lists, warranty documentation, and successful project turnover.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects in the DMV region.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and financial controls.
- Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Reliable transportation with ability to travel across Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
