Position: Commercial Construction Estimator/Salesman
Location: Lincoln, NE
Employment Type: Full-Time
What You’ll Do
- Prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure bids are competitive and complete.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and vendors.
- Present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with professionalism and confidence.
- Track leads, follow up, and drive revenue growth for the company.
- Proven experience as a commercial estimator, construction sales rep, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Ability to analyze drawings, takeoffs, and prepare bid packages.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed goals.
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office (preferred).
