CMM Programmer I

Position Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining programs on inspection equipment including (Zeiss OGP Smartscope Keyence Starretts Microvu).

Key Responsibilities:

• Produces programs for inspection equipment.
• Reads and interprets hard copies and/or computerized drawings and specifications for parts.
• Computes dimensions and tolerances. Uses geometric tolerances and interprets and applies those requirements to the inspection versus tooling.
• Inspects completed components using CMM.
• Troubleshoots quality problems by effectively utilizing process control and corrective actions.
• Conducts gauge R&R studies to demonstrate capabilities of the inspection method.
  
  
  

Must Have:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1+ years of CMM experience.
• 1+ years of programming CMM experience.
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Must be able to read, write and speak English

• Tech School Desired
• Six Sigma Green Belt
  
  
  

Competitive market salary from $22-30 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
