SUMMARY:
PACE Southeast Michigan is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for our clinical positions within PACE Southeast Michigan. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruiting healthcare professionals across various specialties. This role involves sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified healthcare professionals to meet the organization's staffing needs, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the process. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
PACE Southeast Michigan is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for our clinical positions within PACE Southeast Michigan. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruiting healthcare professionals across various specialties. This role involves sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified healthcare professionals to meet the organization's staffing needs, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the process. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you play a vital role in advancing PACE Southeast Michigan's mission, culture, and values by recruiting employees who will provide exceptional care for our participants.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop focused recruiting strategies.
- Source qualified healthcare professionals across various specialties, ensuring alignment with position requirements and PACE Southeast Michigan’s company culture.
- Review resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and evaluate candidates’ qualifications for roles.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates to enhance engagement, retention and candidate experience.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, ensuring timely communication.
- Manage the candidate pipeline and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Provide outstanding customer service to both candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Create job postings and leverage advertising, social media, job boards, and other platforms to attract applicants.
- Identify alternative sourcing channels, including social networks (e.g., LinkedIn), competitor analysis, college programs, referrals, and online networking.
- Highlight organizational benefits to differentiate the company during job offers and compensation discussions.
- Work closely with HR to deliver a consistent, culture-aligned onboarding experience.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Attend job fairs, career events, and networking functions to promote the organization and fill open positions.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners (HRBP) on wage recommendations, offer details, and negotiations.
- Recommend policies and practices to streamline and enhance recruitment processes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and organizational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, 3 years of this time must be within the healthcare industry. Familiarity with clinical roles and licensure requirements is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (e.g., UltiPro, PeopleSoft) and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with sourcing tools and platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices related to recruitment and hiring.
- This position may require occasional travel to attend job fairs, industry conferences, and networking events.
- Flexibility in work hours may be necessary to accommodate candidates' schedules.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
