POSITION SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse coordinates and implements patient care for specific age groups, ensuring quality and safety in line with unit standards. They demonstrate effective work habits and treat all individuals with respect.

Minimum Qualifications

  • EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license; BLS Certification required within 2 weeks of hire.
  • SKILLS: Knowledge of patient rights, clear communication, and age-appropriate care.
  • EXPERIENCE: Supervised by Patient Care Director or Manager.
  • ENVIRONMENT: Exposure to infectious diseases; flexible working hours.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to handle emergencies, extensive standing/walking, and manual dexterity.
