CPP Clinics is a leading provider of medical aesthetics services, offering innovative treatments across multiple medspas under the CPP umbrella. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient experiences and outstanding results, utilizing advanced technologies and personalized care.
The Clinical Assistant plays a key role in supporting the delivery of elective cosmetic services under the guidance of the team lead and physicians. This position involves preparing patients for laser treatments and cosmetic injections, maintaining efficient provider schedules, and coordinating with medical supply vendors. The assistant also educates patients on treatment plans and skincare products, ensuring a positive experience that promotes satisfaction, loyalty, and ongoing care.
Schedule
4 days per week. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8:30AM - 5:00PM. Thursday: 10:30AM - 7:00PM

Education And Experience
- 2+ years experience in a medical office
- High school diploma. College degree preferred
- Passionate about knowledge of skin care, cosmetic services, and products
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid sales skills
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work as a team member
- Well-organized with attention to detail
- Treats patients and co-workers with respect
- Empathetic with patient’s needs and concerns
- Capable of maintaining a good work ethic in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 20 pounds
- Must be able to frequently ascend/descend stairs throughout day
Primary Responsibilities
- Cleanses skin as necessary
- Numbs patients with topical numbing, as necessary
- Provides patients with instructions and educational materials that relate to their unique skin type and recommend adjustments to their skincare regimen
- Determines patient skin care goals and recommends products and services that can meet these goals
- Seeks advice and supervision of physician as required on treatment protocols and notifies the physician of any patient noncompliance
- Responsible for communicating patients skin care treatment plans, product usage, or home care instructions
- Maintains patient medical records detailing all treatment procedures, elective products, medication history, and educational materials received
- Escorts patients to exam rooms, obtain/updates medical history and vital signs as required by patient’s chief complaint
- Sets up exam room according to scheduled procedure or anticipate physicians needs
- Assists physician with laser-assisted liposuction, biopsies and non-surgical or minimally-invasive laser procedures
- Follows up with patients after treatments, via phone and email
- Cleans and disinfects exam rooms in compliance with OSHA
- Clean, sort and organize linens
- Stock all exam rooms with medical supplies
- Monitor equipment to ensure proper operation and maintain equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain treatment rooms and work areas in compliance with OSHA standards
- Participate and attends in-service educational programs and staff meetings
- Maintain inventory-tracking system for retail and professional products
- Order and stock inventory and medical supplies as needed for maintaining treatment rooms and retail areas
- Perform all duties related to medical instrument cleaning and sterilization
- Notify clinical staff of supplies needed to avoid shortages
- Perform other duties and tasks as needed
- Assist other departments when needed
