Key Responsibilities:
- Global Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a global technology agenda integrating cutting-edge hardware and software solutions, including on-premises and cloud software, AI, robotics, and other emerging engineering technologies. Align your strategic vision with the company's purpose and goals, transcending continents and regions. Forge strategic partnerships and facilitate the flow of information and resources worldwide.
- Integration of Technology and Commercial Strategy: Integrate various technology disciplines to align with and achieve the commercial strategy and growth of the business. Visualize and articulate the value of innovative product solutions and technology strategies and drive the development of new, innovative products from concept through regulatory approval and commercialization. Ensure that our technology solutions meet the evolving needs of our customers and drive business growth.
- Driving Global Innovation and Thought Leadership: Lead the charge in identifying and adopting emerging technologies. Where relevant, cultivate and build out early technology research capabilities that keep Omnicell on the cutting edge of technology applications that are applied to unmet customer needs. Foster a culture of thought leadership, innovation, and creativity, positioning Omnicell as a global innovation leader.
- Building an Innovation and Growth-Driven Engineering Culture: Foster a culture that drives growth and innovation through product engineering excellence. Recruit, develop, and retain technical and engineering talent. Establish and improve product development processes, ensuring they are culturally ingrained and aligned with the company's goals. Work collaboratively to optimize the Product Lifecycle Process (PLP) and work towards embedding it into the organizational culture and how work gets done.
- Management on a Global Scale for Hardware and Software: Oversee budget for global product engineering, optimizing investments to drive innovation and growth. Manage infrastructure assets globally, ensuring they meet internal financial targets while fueling technological advancements.
- Global Technology Governance: Establish and enforce global technology standards and practices. Oversee the consolidation of technology platforms, monitor performance metrics, and drive changes to optimize efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Global Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Customer Success, Supply Chain/Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and Quality etc. Align technology development with organizational goals and ensure seamless hardware and software integration.
- Engineering Leadership for Medication Management Systems and Solutions: Drive the conception and development of systems, focusing on user-centered design principles. Ensure that products and services meet the needs of healthcare providers.
- Visionary Leadership: Possess visionary leadership with a global perspective. Your ability to see the bigger picture and chart a strategic course is essential for shaping Omnicell's technology future. Adept at conceptualizing and executing creative technology partnerships that propel Omnicell’s technology solutions and make them indispensable to our customers.
- Technical Expertise: You are the go-to technology expert with a deep understanding of both hardware and software domains. Your technical acumen empowers you to make informed decisions and guide your teams effectively.

- A master’s degree (MA) in Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar relevant field.
- Extensive knowledge of complex systems architecture, design, and development in both hardware and software domains.
