Job Overview
The Chief Financial Officer will be a key member of the executive leadership team. As an operational and strategic business partner to the Chief Executive Officer and other members of the executive team, the CFO will help develop, communicate, and execute the company’s strategic vision. The CFO will be tasked with leading and continuously improving a high-performing finance and accounting function, assuring that
the right people, processes, and systems are in place to enable the company to continue to scale.
This executive will develop and lead a team that provides critical support and advice to management and the board of directors to guide decision making and the strategic direction of the company, using an analytical and data-driven approach. The CFO will work cross-functionally to continuously identify and capitalize on opportunities for both growth and operational excellence.

This executive will develop and lead a team that provides critical support and advice to management and the board of directors to guide decision making and the strategic direction of the company, using an analytical and data-driven approach. The CFO will work cross-functionally to continuously identify and capitalize on opportunities for both growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and help guide, communicate, and execute the strategic vision for the company
- Lead, manage, and develop the company’s finance and accounting organization and drive
- Implement and lead repeatable and scalable processes for strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Lead the development and management of KPIs and scorecards to drive accountability
- Manage and optimize organizational cash flow and forecasting and assure a strong focus on cash and near-term cash forecasting
- Oversee management and board reporting and the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and
- Manage core accounting functions including monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close of the books, and ensure timely and precise reporting of standard financial reports
- Lead the annual audit process to achieve successful year-end financial audit with no material adjustments and assure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Own, develop and manage relationships with banks and lenders and provide the necessary reporting, governance, and management of debt servicing
- Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to proactively identify and execute actions that drive profitable growth, gain market share, improve operational efficiencies, and increase productivity
- Deliver excellent modeling and scenario planning to support strategy creation and opportunity evaluation
- Develop, mentor, coach, and right size the finance and accounting team, as well as other cross functional leaders
- Regularly communicate, coordinate, and report to the company’s CEO, COO and executive team
- Drive customer, prospect, and market analytics for the company
- Keep abreast of developments and trends within the company and the market, and consistently make recommendations to enhance Therapy 2000’s market position
- Proven success as CFO or Finance Leader of a rapidly growing, dynamic organization, preferably in a multi-site, multi-state healthcare business that scaled through organic, de novo, and acquisitive growth
- Significant experience in the full cycle of acquisitions, including pre-acquisition diligence,
- Demonstrated experience driving operational efficiency, synergies, and margin improvements
- Demonstrated track record of continuous process improvements and implementation of best practices
- Proven ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth and operational excellence, utilizing analytics and a data-driven approach to decision making
- Ability to take a lead role in enabling a robust and thoughtful M&A strategy, in particular sell-side
- Ability to lead, develop, and build a high-performing team
- Experience partnering with and presenting to other members of the executive team, board of directors, and private equity investors
- Healthcare services industry experience
- Strong experience interfacing with physicians
- Private equity portfolio company experience
- Sophistication around debt and experience owning relationships with banks and lenders
- CPA, experience in public accounting and/or investment banking experience preferred
