Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jamaica, NY for a CFS Air Freight Specialist. The CFS Air Freight Specialist will be responsible for managing customer air freight shipments and consolidations, as well as providing timely updates and clear and concise communication to our customers about the various progress checkpoints for each shipment. Daily tasks include managing email & phone queries from customers,
providing excellent customer service,
data entry into Air AMS system, as well as managing the flow of orders as they progress through various stages.

Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills (specifically via email)
- Experience in air freight and freight forwarding customer operations
- Proficient in logistics & air freight processes & terminology
- Experience with Descartes Air AMS is preferable
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in the transportation or logistics industry is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or any other related field is beneficial
