Certified Medication Aide ll

Yellowstone River Nursing & Rehabilitation is currently searching for a talented Certified Medication Aide ll to join our team!

The primary purpose of the CMA ll position is to ensure the highest quality of resident care available, support staff and establish a positive reputation in the community while delivering on the Eduro HealthCare Values of wellness, compassion, customer experience and company results.

Certified Medication Aide ll Responsibilities:

• Deliver routine daily medications, either prescription or non-prescription, to patients.
• Coordinate with different nurses to assist with patient care and medications.
• Follow written or verbal instructions on how to manage medications.
• Record medication dosages and times.
• Observe patients and document changes in their condition.
• Gather samples for analysis.
• Ensure equipment is routinely inspected and cleaned.
• Uphold all health and safety standards.
• Respond to patient emergency call signals, bells, or intercom systems to identify patient needs.
  
  
  

Certified Medication Aide ll Requirements:

• Must be a Certified Medication Aide AND Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing in state employed, or able to become state certified in the state you are employed in.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a CMA.
• Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program required.
• Completion of orientation required by company policy.
• Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment.
• Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.
• Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.
• Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
