What You'll Do
- Reconcile bank deposits and credit card payments daily to the general ledger for approximately 50 store locations
- Research and solve discrepancies including data input errors or system errors
- Build ongoing relationships with employees at locations you reconcile and contact them as questions arise (provide our stores excellent customer service)
- Reconcile monthly bank statements
- Ensure all documentation related to cash reconciliation is accurate and complete
- New store set up support
- Assist with projects or other duties as needed
- 2-4 years bookkeeping experience or Accounting Associates degree preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Experience with the financial reconciliation process
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Excel
- NetSuite experience is a plus
