The Case Manager Lead will support a team of Community Support Coordinators (Case Managers) while providing case management to individuals that have developmental delays. A tremendous opportunity for an individual looking to sharpen their leadership skills! Will be working in the East Los Angeles, Montebello, Whittier, Pasadena and Alhambra areas.

Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree in behavioral science or related field, with 3-5 years recent full time experience working
with individuals who have a dual diagnosis (developmental disability/mental illness). Bi-lingual Spanish highly preferred
Experience with service delivery systems (e.g. Regional Center, Mental Health Court, Criminal Court, and
Probation Dept., etc.) highly preferred
Ability to provide leadership and direction to team of CSCs & CSSs.
Ability to travel locally; maintain driving record in compliance with Transportation Safety Standards. Must
possess and maintain proper auto insurance and vehicle registration.
Ability to pass a post-offer physical examination and a TB test. Able to obtain and maintain a criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and
Federal Bureau of Investigation per Easterseals of Southern California and/or program requirements.

Responsibilities
- Supervises and coordinates services of designated participants including, but not limited to: intake process, associated meetings, contacts and training sessions. Assists in the supervision of Community Support Coordinators (CSC) and/or Community Support Specialists (CSS) and their caseloads as needed. Supports training of new associates on service delivery and caseload files
- Travels to areas served by the designated Regional Center via the use of a personal vehicle. Conducts home visits, works with individuals with behavioral and emotional challenges and significant medical issues. Provides back-up support on behalf of associates with individual assignments and caseloads as needed
- Maintains effective working relationships with participants and their family members, referral agencies, community resources, and agency associate members. Conducts outreach activities
- Ensures health and safety of program participants through the development, implementation and enforcement of standards, guidelines, and services for designated programs
- Monitors and ensures associates’ schedules meet required ratios. Oversees and monitors associate attendance, billing, and files
- Ensures all contractual requirements (reports, documentation, and billing) are accurate, complete and processed in a timely manner
- Evaluates and determines associate training and professional development needs relevant to program and schedules as appropriate
- Performs other duties as assigned
