The Case Aide is an essential member of the case management team, providing crucial support in coordinating
services and resources for children in need. Case Aide role will involve assisting case managers in various
administrative tasks, child interactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of case management processes and
appointments.

The Case Aide is an essential member of the case management team, providing crucial support in coordinating
services and resources for children in need. Case Aide role will involve assisting case managers in various
administrative tasks, child interactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of case management processes and
appointments.
Essential Functions
- Administrative Support:
- Assist case managers in maintaining accurate and up-to-date child records, including
- Assist with children's phone calls to sponsors and family.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents as necessary.
- Assist with collecting, storing, and managing child property.
- Assist with the discharge process.
- Assist with coordinating appointments with external agencies or organizations.
- Follow up with children to monitor their progress and address any challenges or barriers
- Provide input and feedback to improve case management processes and procedures.
- Collaborate closely with members of the treatment team to ensure coordinated and holistic
- Logistics and Travel Arrangements:
- Ensure adherence to timely travel arrangements made by case managers for a timely
- Ensure discharge paperwork is collected and properly filed.
- Assist with transporting children to appointments, as necessary.
- Compliance:
- Document all child and sponsor related interactions and communications as required by
- Organize and maintain files and records in accordance with VisionQuest, ORR, state
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of VisionQuest, licensing, and Office of Refugee
incorporated.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with ability to listen actively.
- Commitment to professional development and proactive research.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Google Drive) with the ability to learn
- Excellent clerical skills
- Minimum of GED or High School Diploma
- Child welfare and/or case management experience is strongly encouraged.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Flexible schedule (evening, weekends, holidays) to facilitate program services.
- Cleared tuberculosis test results.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Must be able to provide proof of required vaccinations.
- Cleared background checks from appropriate entities, including Child Abuse and Neglect and FBI
- Obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive to facilitate program services as required.
- May lift and carry up to 10 pounds frequently, up to 20 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds
- Performs tasks that may involve standing or walking 50% of the day; sitting 50%of the day.
- May bend, stoop, reach and grasp as necessary.
- Must be able to provide First Aid and CPR.
- Must be able to perform physical holds as instructed in Crisis Prevention Intervention training
