Job Overview

Ufema Contracting is looking for two experienced and driven Carpenters to join our Field Operations team. This role offers an opportunity to work on high-quality residential and commercial projects where craftsmanship and reliability are recognized and rewarded. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of carpentry, capable of working independently or leading a small crew, and confident handling complex tasks with a professional attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rough and finish carpentry work across residential and commercial projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide construction.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials with precision.
• Install structures and fixtures, including windows, doors, cabinetry, and drywall.
• Lead or collaborate with small crews to ensure project efficiency and safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company protocols.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of carpentry experience in residential and/or commercial settings preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and construction drawings.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently or lead a crew.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
