Job Description Summary

The Team Lead will help deliver high-quality, compassionate care to our clients. This role is a hybrid of a caregiver and a supervisor, providing direct care while also serving as a mentor, a resource, and a quality control point for a specific group of caregivers. The ideal candidate will be an experienced caregiver with strong leadership skills and a passion for helping others succeed. They are expected to be in the office no more than 10 hours per week and carry their own case load. Team Leads will need to rotate an On-call Schedule to be able to fill-in call outs.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

Caregiver Support & Mentorship:

Serve as the first point of contact and a positive role model for a team of assigned caregivers.

Provide hands-on training and guidance to new and existing caregivers, ensuring they are confident and competent in their duties.

Conduct regular check-ins and performance evaluations for your team, offering constructive feedback and encouragement.

Plan & Organize Caregiver appreciation events.

Help with caregiver orientation and on boarding.

Client Care & Quality Assurance:

Perform direct care visits for clients, filling in for shifts as needed and maintaining a caseload of your own.

Ensure care plans are being followed accurately and that all documentation is completed correctly and on time.

Complete 5 Caregiver satisfaction calls per week.

Consult on Plans of care.

Proactively identify and resolve any issues or concerns that arise with your team or their clients.

Communication & Collaboration:

Act as a liaison between your team of caregivers and the office staff, communicating updates, concerns, and needs.

Collaborate with the scheduling and clinical teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Do caregiver drop-ins.

Position Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ experience preferred.

CNA / HHA / DSP / PCA experience is mandatory.

Familiarity with medical terminology.

Excellent communication skills and ability to provide a high level of customer service in a fast- paced environment.

High degree of professionalism, attention to detail and effectiveness.

Trouble- Shooting, Prioritizing And Organizational Skills Essential.

Experience with private residence in home care scheduling.

Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.

Demonstrate excellent observation verbal and written communication skills.

A reliable car.

Open availability.

Be able to staff or fill-in caregiver call outs

Valid Driver's License

Be able to lift 50lbs.

No physical limitations to providing personal care.

Be comfortable with Microsoft and Google Workspace.

For each call out they fill-in for they receive a point. After 5 points they will receive a $50 Bonus.

After 90 days Team Leads will receive a $100 Bonus.

For the first 90 days this is a part-time position. After 90-days this will become a full-time position.

Team Leads will be paid $20/day for their on-call that they are not called in to fill a shift. If they decline a shift they are not eligible for the $20 payment.
