An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Sutherland Care at Home Team. We are looking for a motivated & enthusiastic individual who will be part of a multidisciplinary team based at Lawson Memorial Hospital, Golspie.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for coordinating care schedules for our team of dedicated carers, ensuring that our service users receive the support they need, when they need it.
Key Responsibilities
A driving licence is essential for this post and applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes.
This is a permanent full-time post of 37 hours primarily working Monday to Friday, within 9.00 – 5.00 or in line with service requirements
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).

- Schedule and coordinate care visits for clients across designated areas
- Match carers to service users based on needs, location, and availability
- Manage last-minute changes, cancellations, and emergencies efficiently
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records using our care management system
- Liaise with clients, families, and care teams to ensure clear communication
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment
- Confident IT user, ideally with knowledge of scheduling software or care platforms but not essential.
- A problem-solver with a proactive approach to challenges
