As a Cabinet Maker at Monkey in the Metal, you'll be an essential part of our production process, supporting our skilled team in creating one-of-a-kind pieces. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and has a keen eye for detail. You'll work closely with our team to craft, assemble, and perfect pieces that meet our high standards and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the assembly, finishing, and preparation of custom metal and wood pieces.
  • Support material handling, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Operate machinery and tools in the shop safely and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, contributing to overall shop safety.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure the highest standard of craftsmanship.
  • Participate in team collaborations to problem-solve and innovate on unique projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a fabrication or similar hands-on role is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.
  • Physical stamina and comfort in a hands-on environment, including lifting and operating machinery.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • A genuine interest in creativity, design, and hands-on work in a custom fabrication setting.
