Business Manager-Oilfield, Mining & Tolling
Dover Chemical Corporation, (DCC) is a leading producer of specialty chemicals including alkylphenols, chlorinated paraffins, polymer additives, liquid and solid antioxidants (including organophosphites), and flame retardants, additives for water‐based and oil‐based metalworking fluids and drilling fluid additives. We provide chemical specialty products, specifically chemical additives, to our customers around the world who make products that are useful in everyday life. Our products help to improve a wide variety of materials, including fuels, metal‐working materials, and polymers for use in industrial and household applications.

Job Summary
The Oilfield, Mining & Toll Business Manager is a demanding role which merges deep knowledge of production capability, performance chemistry and market dynamics. The merger of this knowledge is used to optimize Dover’s role in the defined markets. Price policy, competitive analysis, product offerings/selection and R&D activity to support the defined market are key components of the role. A deep understanding of the oversight markets but also Dover (Hammond) capability is required.

Duties & Responsibilities
Job Requirements:
- Management of key accounts within the existing customer portfolio.
- Pricing and margin analysis and management.
- Market and competitive analysis.
- Defining growth opportunities that align with manufacturing assets.
- Collaboration with Business Unit, Manufacturing, and Technical to drive the New Product. Development pipeline.
- Review toll manufacturing technical packages and facilitate product scale up activities.
- B.S. Degree (Chemistry, Engineering.)
- 5 years related technical work experience in the specific markets appropriate to the role.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills including negotiating aptitude. Key account management.
- Familiarity with the Stage Gate & New Product Development processes. Computer literacy required.
- Familiar with manufacturing, process workflow, statistical process control and production equipment capabilities.
- Understand statistical techniques and apply to budgeting and forecasting.
