TITLE: Optavise Business Intelligence Internship - 2026

LOCATION: Carmel IN or Chicago IL or Remote in the US Eastern or Central Time

Optavise, a CNO Financial Group Company is seeking a Business Intelligence Intern. This program is designed to introduce college students to real-world business intelligence work while contributing to meaningful projects that support Optavise’s mission.

This is a paid internship, at competitive rates between $21-$23/hour depending on your work location. Memorial Day and 4th of July holidays are paid days off.

As a Business Intelligence intern, your responsibilities will include:

• Assist in building and maintaining dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Analyze data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making
• Work with Denodo to integrate and virtualize data from multiple sources

The CNO 2026 internship program will run May 18th through August 2026. During this period, we offer programming that compliments the learning provided by the department through work and other activities such as

• An in-person event at one of our Corporate offices during the last week of July
• Final Presentations

Qualified candidates for a Business intern position will have:

• Progress toward a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics/Finance or related field
• Rising junior or senior status (expected graduation between Dec 2026 – June 2028)
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
• Availability to work 40 hours/week for 10–12 weeks
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Office products
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Interest in business analytics, data visualization, and problem-solving
