Business Assistant

We are looking for a Business Assistant to join our Orland Park team and help ensure an outstanding patient experience.

As a Business Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for patients, managing scheduling, patient communications, and financial arrangements. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming and efficient experience for every patient while supporting the clinical team.

Schedule (days/hours)

W: 8-5, F:8-2, S:8-1 (2 Saturdays a month)

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring a friendly and professional experience.
• Schedule appointments and manage the dental calendar efficiently.
• Answer patient inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Explain treatment plans, procedures, and financial options to patients.
• Collect co-pays, process payments, and assist with insurance verification.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate closely with dental assistants, hygienists, and providers to coordinate care.
  
  

Qualifications

• At least one year related experience
• Knowledge of dental terminology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting
  
  

Compensation

$18-$22 / HR
