Purpose
The Business Analyst identifies problems, recommending solutions, data analysis, cross-functional facilitation, and process design work to support the successful execution of key initiatives. They will be an IT liaison fostering alignment between departments and will help support execution of various efforts. They can talk to senior stakeholders for gathering requirements, work with teams to create project plans, epics, features and user stories, coordinate with development teams on day-to-day activities, validate deliverables to confirm if they meet business requirements and communicate with stakeholders to provide meaningful updates.
Responsibilities
PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy offers flexibility only to eligible employees to work hybrid or remotely without compromising work performance, productivity, or team collaboration. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

Responsibilities
- Acts as a main liaison between the business, project managers and technology team to collaboratively design, develop, and implement IT solutions that meet business needs.
- Independently understands current state business processes to elicit and translate business needs into documented business and technical requirements.
- Ability to breakdown complex business problems and workflows into meaningful components that are understandable by various levels to create business and technical requirements.
- Understands user workflows with an eye for automation and user experience improvement.
- Leads analytic projects, partnering as appropriate with the clinical, operational, and finance teams to develop reports, insights and tangible action plans.
- Creates epics, features and user stories based on requirements and aligns to agile/scrum events.
- Develops and tests hypotheses using data and analysis to solve problems and create efficiencies.
- Understands the way data needs to be pulled and pushed from different sources, existing and new (API's, Sharepoints, ADO, Third Party Tools, etc.)
- Translates data and information to facilitate a general understanding of the workflows within and between processes and applications.
- Gathers qualitative and quantitative feedback from stakeholders, synthesizes, and delivers to leadership to improve alignment.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3-5+ years of IT business analysis experience in the healthcare industry.
- 3-5+ years of demonstrated business process analysis and/or project management experience.
- Strong ability to interpret needs and translate them into business and technical requirements.
- Ability to translate technical language into something that can be more broadly understood at any level and for any business partner.
- Must be well organized, methodical and pay close attention to detail to create and drive software development lifecycles aligned to project plans when needed.
- Strong solution-oriented approach to problems, leveraging analytical and critical thinking.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong work ethic and track record in achieving business goals and on-time deliverables.
- Flexible approach, willing to wear multiple hats if needed to innovate and navigate ambiguity.
- Ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time effectively.
- Self-starter who will take initiative and be proactive when there are multiple priorities.
- Bachelor's Degree in business, computer science, technology, or related field.
- Experience implementing new systems and processes.
- Knowledge and experience with Scrum/Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Pharmacy or Specialty Pharmacy experience.
- Proficient with software development management tools like Jira or AzureDevOps.
- Proficient with project management tools like MS Project or SmartSheets.
- Previous experience in a health care setting with payors/providers.
- CSPO, CSM, PMP or other related project management / agile certification.
- Understanding and appreciation of processes/procedures and governance required to lead projects and programs.
