Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Business Analyst II with a Public Trust clearance to support KDS and our government. This is a hybrid role, primarily remote but may require an occasional visit to the client site in Washington, DC. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Business Analyst II to support a public health agency client Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This individual will be energetic and committed to operational excellence. This person will have experience in supporting federal programs with a varied background and be able to support large and small teams in reaching client goals.
Key Responsibilities:
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzes process and re-engineering, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment(s).
- Creates process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted Business Systems teams.
- Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts.
- Participates as needed in all phases of software development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases.
- Education and experience: Minimum of bachelor’s degree.
- Five-plus years of experience in business process/business systems analysis.
- 5 or more years of experience with Agile methodology
- Experience with the ServiceNow platform and systems integration is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
- 1 or more years of experience with client development; building on existing and introducing new products and/or services.
- 1 or more years’ experience working with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- 1 or more years’ experience demonstrating oral and written communication skills, especially in a client interaction context.
- Must have excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed team environment, with a client-centric culture, and an environment of high performers.
- Must be able to multi-task and shift priorities as needed.
- Must be able to work effectively with numerous stakeholder types and bring a group to consensus.
