Position Overview: The Brand Marketing Specialist is a key position within the Papa Murphy's Brand team that is charged with supporting guest-focused marketing and activation initiatives to drive increased brand awareness, acquisition, frequency and spending. You will assist in the development and implementation of programs and promotions developed to achieve Papa Murphy's goals and objectives.
The Brand Marketing Specialist is a creative, detail-oriented and energetic professional who can multi-task effectively, balance multiple and changing priorities, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. In this important role, the Brand Marketing Specialist helps champion the Papa Murphy's brand by:
- Owning and maintaining the annual marketing calendar; ensuring that it is always up to date
- Assisting in the coordination of photo and video shoots, in partnership with the brand team
- Working with vendors, legal and AP to secure estimates and process invoices
- Assisting with the monitoring and reporting of product and promotion performance
- Supporting the implementation and execution of brand campaigns and PMI initiatives. Manage project timelines, submit art requests to support programs and complete product information forms for new product launches
- Regularly monitoring competitor, category and industry trends and reporting findings to the broader marketing team
- Organizing and tracking final assets from the studio
- Assisting with brainstorming sessions for new product launches or marketing ideas
- Salary range: $58,000-$65,000. Actual offer may vary from posted hiring range based on location, work experience, and/or education.

- Detail-oriented project manager who works collaboratively and can influence cross-functional partners to align around a project or initiative.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, results-oriented, organized, and a team player.
- Efficient use of personal computer and MS Office Suite -- Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Use of marketing tools including Adobe Creative Sweet and AI tools is a plus.
- Use of project management and Digital Asset Management tools such as Wrike and Media Valet is desired
- Self-motivated and able to work remotely
- Must be able to travel as business needs require (estimated 10% travel.)
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2-4 years in brand marketing, advertising or related role. Franchised retail or restaurant experience preferred.
- Marketing experience as Marketing Assistant/Coordinator or agency Account Executive level. Adjacent experience, such as restaurant Operations, will be considered for the right candidate.
