Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and trustworthy Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Input vendor bills and credits in a timely manner
• Track client billing, invoices, and payments
• Assist with year-end financial preparation and audits
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
• Calculating monthly, and quarterly, sales tax reports and processing payments to the State and Federal agencies.
• Collaborate with our internal team and external accountant as needed
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
  
  

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience in a marketing, promotions, or creative agency environment
• Familiarity with project-based billing and time tracking systems
• Experience with multi-state sales tax and Avalara
