Description

Position Summary:

Provide support, training and consultation to teams serving clients with significant behavioral challenges. Determine needs for supports through functional assessments, develop behavior plans as needed according to Human Rights Committee and Client’s Rights, data track and summarize outcomes, and complete documentation and invoicing. Participate as team member in Clinical Department goals and provide training to external parties as a representative of the Area Agency.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide behavioral and systemic consultations to teams serving clients with maladaptive behaviors that interfere with their quality of life.
  • Formulate and author comprehensive behavior plans based on a functional assessment of behaviors observed
  • Timely submission of Behavior Support Plan to the Human Rights Committee for review and approval
  • Ensure all supports are based in proactive strategies and least restrictive, using data to inform interventions.
  • Collaborate with Service Coordination to provide quality and timely supports to shared clients.
  • Engage in multi modal training for individuals implementing plans and otherwise supporting clients served through The Moore Center (TMC)
  • Engage in activities required to complete documentation timelines, track and bill for billable hours, as set by Department Director.
  • Complete funding request activities as needed to ensure services can remain without interruption.
  • Provide training related to behavioral programming, modalities and methods to diverse support systems including community organizations outside the disabilities system as needed
  • Participate in overall planning and implementation of Clinical Department and Moore Center mission
  • Develop data collection and tracking systems for staff and families
  • Perform ongoing observation for oversight of target behavior decrease and increase of replacement behaviors
  • Gauge efficacy of behavior plan and revise accordingly
  • Maintain ongoing knowledge of best practices through clinical supervision appropriate training, etc.
  • Secondary responsibilities include assisting as needed on related committees, such as the Human Rights Committee and the Risk Management Team
  • Reliably organized in documentation activities and record keeping

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree preferred in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Board Certified Behavioral Analysis (BCBA) or other related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of direct behavioral services experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Ability to work in the office, community locations and remotely
