Key Responsibilities:
Manages the process of returning warranty parts to manufacturers
Receives, sorts, and stores returned parts
Tracks parts against claims to ensure timely and accurate returns
Maintains detailed records of returned items and shipping confirmations
Coordinates with the service department, warranty administrator, and logistics/shipping departments
Ensures compliance with manufacturer return policies and deadlines
Prepares shipments and arranges transportation as needed
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a warranty parts administrator in a similar role (automotive industry experience preferred)
Strong understanding of warranty guidelines and manufacturer claim procedures
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency with dealership management systems (experience with Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK a plus)
Strong communication and customer service skills
A positive, team-oriented attitude
