Position Summary

JCC Association is seeking a highly skilled and creative Audio Producer to join our team. As the Audio Producer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality audio content for our various digital platforms, including podcasts, webinars, and other audio projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling, excellent audio editing skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our team to bring our content to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, produce, and edit engaging and high-quality audio content for JCC Association’s digital platforms
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop audio content that aligns with the organization’s mission and goals
• Identify potential topics, guests, and interviewees for podcasts and webinars
• Conduct interviews and gather sound bites for audio projects
• Edit and mix recorded audio, including sound design, music, and voiceovers, to create a polished final product
• Ensure all audio content meets high production standards and remains on brand
• Manage project timelines and deliver audio content within agreed upon deadlines
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in audio storytelling and production
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Audio Production, Journalism, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in audio production, preferably in a media or non-profit setting
• Proficiency in audio editing software such as Pro Tools, Audacity, or Adobe Audition
• Solid understanding of recording techniques and audio equipment
• Strong storytelling skills and the ability to turn complex ideas into engaging audio content
• Excellent project management and time-management skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team and take direction
• Passion for Jewish culture and the mission of JCC Association
  
  

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with occasional evening and weekend work required. The Audio Producer will work primarily from our office in New York City but may occasionally travel to JCCs and events around the country.
